With the gradual maturity of AI glasses, Changjiang Microelectronics' T-CORE miniaturized monolithic inductors have helped domestic AI glasses brands move towards mass production.
In early 2023, most domestic AI glasses brands were in the research and development stage and critical technology breakthrough period. One of the core challenges was integrating the PCBA motherboard into the narrow glasses frame. This required a large number of "small enough and powerful enough" miniaturized electronic components - multiple sets of DC-DC buck-boost circuits and energy storage filter circuits needed to be deployed in multiple high-power consumption units such as display modules, 5G communication modules, computing chips, Bluetooth/WiFi modules, and audio modules.
Ultimately, the PCB motherboard area needed to be controlled at approximately 900mm² with a length of less than 50mm, while accommodating 16 power inductors and 5 common-mode inductors. Relying on technical accumulation, Changjiang Microelectronics first developed the 141265 (1.4mm×1.2mm×0.65mm) power inductor series, and then further developed the 121065 (1.2mm×1.0mm×0.65mm) and 1005 (1.0mm×0.5mm×0.55mm) extremely miniaturized products driven by customer needs. These products were successfully applied to multiple AI glasses models of customers, helping them achieve mass production and obtain good market response.

Traditional NR wire-wound inductors occupy large space with average power; traditional monolithic inductors meet power requirements but have excessive volume. Changjiang Microelectronics' FTC series power inductors significantly reduce the SMD area of PCB through "extreme miniaturization + bottom electrode technology", enabling engineers to arrange more inductors on smaller PCBs.
Traditional NR wire-wound inductors cannot meet the extreme power consumption requirements of AI glasses in terms of temperature rise circuit and saturation current under the same volume. The FTC series adopts "T-CORE + flat wire winding" design: T-CORE improves magnetic saturation density, and flat wire winding reduces DCR (direct current resistance), significantly reducing AI glasses loss and effectively improving battery durability.

The FTC series power inductors adopt a closed magnetic circuit design, which can effectively reduce EMI (electromagnetic interference) and EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) issues in the circuit within a narrow space, ensuring stable operation of each module of AI glasses.

The FTC series monolithic inductors adopt "T-core process + flat wire winding technology", combined with the company's self-developed high-efficiency, high-saturation composite alloy powder. They are produced through fully automated winding equipment and multiple molding processes to ensure product consistency and performance.
The FTC series inductors cover 1005~5050 series with more than 40 models of different volumes, fully meeting the development needs of engineers in various fields. As of April 2025, Changjiang Microelectronics (Cjiang) has developed 30 major product categories, totaling more than 4,000 models, and continues to launch new products.
